Join us for an inspiring conversation with Georgette Bennett ’67, a trailblazer in building interreligious understanding and a lifelong champion of peace and justice. Dr. Bennett will also be honored by the AAVC Alum Recognition Committee with the 2025 Spirit of Vassar Award for her extraordinary contributions and lasting impact.
This event will be offered both virtually and in-person on campus. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions as part of the evening.

Dr. Bennett will reflect on her pioneering work mobilizing faith communities to confront global crises, bridge divides, and transform conflicts into opportunities for healing and change.
The conversation will be moderated by the Reverend Callista Isabelle, Associate Dean of the College for Religious and Spiritual Life and Contemplative Practices.

The Spirit of Vassar Award is presented to an alum who has demonstrated extraordinary and distinguished leadership, contribution, and commitment to serving a community in which they effect positive, transformative societal change. This contribution may have been made through the recipient's career, community work, or volunteer service. The award recognizes the values of service and civic responsibility that are fundamental to a Vassar education.
