Cheer for Vassar at Head of the Charles
Event Details
Join your fellow Boston-area alums to cheer on the Vassar crew teams as they compete in the Head of the Charles Regatta! This year, Vassar is racing in both the Men’s and Women’s Collegiate Eight races on Sunday, October 19th.
We’ll gather at Magazine Beach near the Mass Audubon Nature Center at 2:30 p.m. ET to cheer them on. They will both race between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m., but we’ll stick around as long as people want to hang out and watch the regatta.
Wear your boldest Vassar gear, bring some snacks and something to sit on, and tell your friends! Everyone is welcome, though we encourage you to register before Friday, October 17th so that we can get an estimated headcount.
We encourage everyone to take public transportation if possible. Visit the Head of the Charles website for transportation options and road closure information.
