This year’s 1951 virtual mini-reunion will feature Vassar’s new Director of Sustainability, Kenneth Foster PhD.

Ken will speak with us about how Vassar is responding to the crises of climate change and the degradation of nature. He will touch on efforts to transition to renewable energy, reduce waste, and prepare students to lead the way to a sustainable and just future.

Ken will also brief us on initiatives to enhance the health of our campus landscape and promote the connection between nature and wellness. And he'll bring you up to speed on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Vassar's arboretum! Read on for more information on sustainability at Vassar.
