You’re invited to a ’64 Zoom Mini-reunion

Let’s talk about Engagement!
Friday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. ET

Sunlight shines through vibrant red and yellow fall trees on a college campus, with red leaves covering the ground and brick buildings in the background.

Last October, following our 60th reunion vow to stay connected, we launched our very first Zoom mini-reunion. With 30 participants, classmate Susan Abel Lieberman led us in a lively, heartfelt discussion of topics inspired by her book of essays, In the Country of Old.

On the heels of this successful virtual gathering, Class Officers and our Advisory Council endorsed a second Zoom mini-reunion on June 20 to discuss The Paradox of Aging: Upsides and Sometimes Hilarious Downsides of Getting Older. Led by Class President Shirley Melis Hirsch and Co-Correspondent Gretchen Smelzer Coffman, classmates engaged in open, insightful discussion of issues common to us all.

Now we’re anticipating a third Zoom mini-reunion on Friday, September 19 to talk about Engagement: What are you up to now? Still taking classes? Volunteering? Watching old movies?

Former Class President Gail Becker has generously offered, once again, to be our Zoom host for what promises to be a spirited discussion of what’s igniting your interest and curiosity on Friday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. ET. Register to receive the Zoom information necessary to join the September ’64 Zoom event.
