Program

“Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued…and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship”
—Brené Brown

Yet developing a sense of connection and community can prove especially challenging in today’s world.

The Vassar Club of Chicago in partnership with the Alumnae/i Association of Vassar College (AAVC) and Vassar’s Office of Advancement invite you to an engaging discussion between Dean Carlos Alamo-Pastrana, Professor Kimberly Williams Brown, former ALANA Center Student Manager and President of Council of Black Seniors Kafi Moragne-Patterson ’06, and ALANA Center Intern Mingjia Ni ’26.

Regardless of your familiarity with ALANA, we welcome all members of the Vassar community in Chicago to connect with us and explore the evolving sense of belonging at Vassar College in these transformative times.

Parking
Valet parking will be available at The Arts Club of Chicago for $20 per car.
