Vassar Club of Ohio 2025 Summer-End Gathering!
Event Details
The Vassar Club of Ohio welcomes all members of the Vassar community to get to know each other as we talk and walk, while enjoying the afternoon at Shaker’s historic park.
We will be meeting at 1:00 p.m. ET at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes Friends Pavilion for some snacks followed by a walk around the area with fellow alum Sarah Holden ’15, Environmental Educator, as she shares some background on the history of the Nature Center and their environmental conservation work.
The initial, short walk will be along the 1/3 mile, ADA accessible All People’s Trail, which offers picturesque views of marshland from an elevated boardwalk. Before the end of the event, Sarah will be happy to lead those interested in an additional 1.5-mile loop around Lower Shaker Lake to see both the lake and some prime examples of original Shaker houses.
