In this session students will: Understand the importance of Excel, different purposes and explore common hotkeys used to efficiently work through tasks Become comfortable with Excel, its features, formulas, formats and navigations Learn basic report creation techniques and working with starter calculations Learn-by-doing taking on a real-world reporting request to apply the skills while completing a live deliverable Better prepare for internships and the more advanced AESOP courses to continue elevating technical skills Now in its 11th consecutive year, liberal arts students continue to finish AESOP Academy as stronger pre-professionals confident in their abilities to tackle organizational challenges and become the standout candidates to recruiters & hiring managers. This Academy is led by Haverford '09 alum Panos Panidis. Panos has a great deal of industry expertise in consulting, finance, startups, and entrepreneurship and has become a dedicated mentor to supporting liberal arts students as they explore competitive career paths. About the Organization: Founded in 1921, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey builds, operates, and maintains many of the most important transportation and infrastructure assets in the country through air, land, rail, and sea. About the Role: The Leadership Fellow Program is a two-year rotational program where Fellows have an opportunity to rotate through four different business functions: staff/support department, line department, finance, and facility operations. Employment Type: This is a full-time, permanent position which includes a yearly salary and benefits. After successful completion of the program, Fellows are considered for key positions throughout The Port Authority. As of 2025, there are over 100 program alumni working at the agency.
