- Aug 266:00 PMMintz Project Analyst Program (Washington D.C.)Mintz is currently recruiting for the next cohort of talented near or recent college graduates seeking an opportunity to work at one of the nation’s leading law firms and explore a variety of legal practice areas. For 35 years, their program has attracted exceptional students from top schools across the country aiming to bolster their experience and interest in the legal industry. They would love to see Vassar well represented in the Project Analyst Program. To this end, they will be hosting three information sessions in late August. These information sessions are designed to provide an in-depth overview of the firm and Project Analyst Program, as well as an opportunity for prospective applicants to raise questions about the program and the recruitment process. The Mintz Project Analyst Program Founded in 1989, Mintz’s Project Analyst Program provides an unparalleled opportunity for recent college graduates to gain experience within the legal and business environments of one of the country’s top law firms. There are currently 15 Project Analysts staffed across Mintz’s Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. offices. We are also recruiting for 1 Project Analyst in our San Diego office on a rolling basis. As this is a separate application, please apply here if interested. The Program provides the unique opportunity for Project Analysts to work in a wide variety of practice areas within the firm. Project Analysts in the Boston office rotate every eight months through various sections including: Business and Corporate Finance; Employment, Labor and Benefits; Healthcare; Immigration; Litigation; and Pro Bono; as well as Mintz’s consulting affiliate, ML Strategies. Project Analysts in the New York office similarly work across all sections of the office, but in a non-rotational structure with an emphasis on Litigation, White Collar Criminal Defense, and Emerging Companies. Project Analysts in the Washington, D.C. office work extensively in the Federal practice area and ML Strategies as well as Healthcare and Antitrust. The responsibilities of a Project Analyst range from financial analysis and trial preparation to client interviews and legal presentations. Analysts also coordinate and staff many of the firm’s pro bono and community service activities.
