The Center for Career Education and Vassar Innovation and Entrepreneurship (VIE) program invite you to join them for an interactive workshop that blends Design Your Life with entrepreneurial problem-solving. We'll help you identify a problem you care about—from global issues to personal challenges—and then use methods like empathy mapping and “How Might I?” brainstorming to map the needs of those impacted and generate creative, actionable ideas. This session is ideal for anyone exploring an entrepreneurial idea, feeling uncertain about what they can do with their major or this upcoming summer, or simply looking for new ways to approach one of life's challenges. David Jaeger, Professor of Economics at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, will be joining us virtually on October 1 at 6PM ET to connect with students about their new one-year Master of Public Policy program. The key defining characteristic of the program is a focus on policy analysis and causal inference, with coding in Python and integrating generative AI as a coding tool. The degree will be open to all interested students  with a B+ or above GPA, regardless of their undergraduate major. St Andrews will offer a 10% discount to students who commit to the program this fall in this inaugural year.
