- Jun 2612:00 PMHarvard Junior Deferral Program Law School Info SessionThe HLS J.D. Admissions Office is hosting a virtual information session for students who are interested in the Junior Deferral Program. The session will take place on June 26. At these sessions, students will learn more about the program and gain insight into the application process. The Junior Deferral Program is an excellent option for students who know they want to go to law school but want to explore other professional, educational, or service opportunities first. If admitted, they must commit to defer their matriculation date at HLS for at least two years after they’ve completed their undergraduate degree. Students can then use the deferral period to explore their interests and gain hands-on work experience before returning to the law school classroom. This year's application will open on May 1, 2025 and close on July 1, 2025. For more information on eligibility and the application process, please refer to our Junior Deferral Program FAQs.
